Adrixus Process

Defining the scope of the project is a critical step. One of the most common frustrations with Web projects is scope creep. By creating a well-defined project plan that outlines specific activities and deliverables, along with specific timelines, we are able to set expectations for our clients.

Analysis

Design

During this first phase, we explore the objective or need of the project for conceptualization. The project can be a business solution or an opportunity. This stage includes a lot of to and fro and brainstorming meetings between client, project team members and stakeholders. Depending on which software development methodology is used, we consider three key points. Time, Cost and Scope.

We follow two processes when it comes to UI/UX design: Digital wire-framing and Visual design.

Think of wireframes as the skeleton. They loosely shape the final product, giving you a reliable idea of where everything will eventually go. The content is the muscle (and can be as meaty or trim as you want). Wireframes can be converted into paper prototypes for usability testing.

Design strengthens brands, reveals user goals, and provides a consistent user experience. We have developed a step-by-step design process that emphasizes design discovery, exploration, and refinement on a collaborative level. Throughout the project engagement, the design team will regularly consult with the client team to refine the user elements and design direction. Based upon the level of design intricacy required for this platform, we will explore multiple exercises in order to establish the desired look and feel.

Development

Design

The engineering team's diversity of skills ensures our clients that we are educated and trained in the latest blockchain, web and mobile technologies. We strongly believe in prototype driven development, leveraging technical solutions in agile and following an iterative development process that allows us to build, test, and learn.

We follow the agile development method. This means that we arrange our work around two-week sprints, that is planned and reviewed continuously through development. We run daily stand-ups so communication is consistent and challenges are met as a team, while our continuous releases allow our clients to clearly see the stage their project is at.

Testing

Design

Q/A is more than checking for glitches in the code. It is more about protecting your brand. Our Q/A team is able to post any arising issues during the building stage of the site. Only after the site is fully QA’d and the client has given final approval, does the site go to production and launch.

We follow the practice of cross browser testing making sure that the web sites and web apps we create work across an acceptable number of web browsers. As a web development company, it is our responsibility to make sure that not only do your projects work, but they work for all your users, no matter what browser, device, or additional assistive tools they are using.

Deployment And Launch

Design

After design, development and quality check comes the anticipated launch. We see through into production, and plan post-production support and the next phase of implementation. We follow three steps in this phase. Beta Launch, Hand off and Final Launch

In this stage, the project team assesses the solution’s success and is measured against the project scope. All project related documents are then archived, lessons learned are documented and the project comes to a close. The follow-up phase is completely neglected in most cases. However, we ensure that all arrangements are made for the successful completion and handover of the project. Once the application is released to production, we always look after any post-production issues or support.
